Do you accept insurance?
I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, and United at the Chicago location. I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO at the Northfield location.
How do I know if my insurance will cover your services?
Benefits can be verified by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. Some questions you may ask are:
What are my outpatient mental health benefits?
What is my co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible amount for outpatient mental health services?
Do I have a deductible, how much is the amount until it is met for the year?
Are there any limits or authorizations required?
I am glad to assist in checking your insurance coverage to get an estimate before your first appointment. Please contact me with your request and provide your insurance ID number and date of birth. Something to keep in mind is that coverage and the amount you will owe cannot be confirmed until a claim has been filed and processed by your insurance provider.

Workshops and therapy groups are not covered by insurance
What can I expect during the first visit?
During our initial appointment we will review the completed registration forms, and general information. We will also collaborate to develop your therapy goals during this time. If you arrive early to our appointment I may still be in session with another client, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting area and I will come get you at our scheduled time.
